We continue to receive reports of damaged trees after the weekend's heavy snowfall. Please note that our urban forestry storm response priorities are:
🌳 Hanging branches from boulevard trees.
🌳 Limbs or trees that are leaning on property such as cars, houses, fences etc.
🍃 Clean up remaining debris including branches that are downed in boulevards.
How to Report Damaged City Trees:
• For trees blocking the road or impacting power lines, please call 9-1-1 dispatch.
• After the storm has passed, please report hanging branches or damaged boulevard trees through the My Helena App or call (406) 447-8426.
• After the storm has passed, down trees across trails in the City’s open land parks should be reported to the Asst. Open Lands Manager at [email protected].
Please note: the City does not provide clean-up for branches from private trees.
