🌧️ FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FOR THE LEHIGH VALLEY AND SURROUNDING AREAS 🌧️

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch from 10:00 AM Saturday through late Saturday night for the Lehigh Valley and much of eastern Pennsylvania.

⚠️ What to Expect:

* Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected throughout the day and into tonight.
* Some storms could produce 2 to 3 inches of rain in as little as 1 to 2 hours, leading to rapid flash flooding.
* Flooding is possible in low-lying areas, poor drainage locations, small streams, creeks, and urban roadways.

📍 Areas Included:
Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Monroe, Berks, Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia counties, along with portions of New Jersey and Delaware.

🚗 Stay Weather Aware:

* Never drive through flooded roadways. Turn Around, Don’t Drown.
* Keep an eye on the forecast throughout the day as Flash Flood Warnings may be issued if flooding develops.
* If you live in a flood-prone area, have a plan in place and be prepared to move to higher ground if necessary.

Lehigh Valley Breaking News will continue monitoring today’s storms and provide updates as watches and warnings are issued. Stay with us for the latest information.
