PAST POSTCARDS OF THE PASS!
On Thursday, June 11, Steve L**h will share postcards of the San Gorgonio Pass from his HUGE collection of Riverside County postcards!
The program is free and open to all, and starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Beaumont Woman's Club Community Center, 306 E. 6th St. Hope to see you there!

SCHOOL TOUR AT THE HEMET DEPOT MUSEUM
Each year the Hemet Depot Museum hosts tours and historical demonstrations for area Third Graders.
Yesterday was a typical tour. Students saw and participated in washing and ironing clothes as it was done a hundred years ago, grinding corn as the Indians did, learned the importance of the horse in early Hemet, and saw how the station agent weighed outbound freight.
In addition, they saw up close dinosaur bones, Indian artifacts and scores of objects from Hemet’s social, educational, agricultural and commercial past.
This could not be done without the support of our Museum’s dedicated volunteers.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all attendees of the "Memorial Day Pioneer Picnic," as well as to the non-profit organizations that participated and those who generously contributed raffle prizes. Special appreciation is also extended to our dedicated volunteers. Your collective efforts were instrumental in ensuring the success of this event.
