Heart For The Nations

It is my last night here in Santiago. My fourth floor balcony faces west into the setting sun. Shadows play across the jungle covering the mountains. And the smells of dinner cooking comes from all the open apartment windows, carried by a cool breeze. It is my favorite time of day here. It feels as if God’s peace has descended over the city. ❤️

It has been a busy and blessed time here in the Dominican Republic. I have seen God move mightily in the people here. After many opportunities to share the word and to be a servant here; I was able to take tonight and sit under the word and to recharged during this time with God during a Tuesday night service. ❤️🙏

We went up in the mountains to la herradura where there is a start-up church. Congregación Cristiana isn’t even finished being built (and they aren’t sure when they will have the funds to finish) but they have church here. They don’t have to wait for the government to tell them they can use their building. It was so exciting spending the morning with this church of new believers living out in the country.

Had a wonderful time sharing this evening at Congregación Cristiana in Villa Gonzales. The youth and Pastors there are amazing!

It has been an amazing 2 days! My time sharing at the rehab was as much a blessing to me as it was to the men there. And today going up in the mountains to share really touched my heart. I am so blessed to have good friends in my Dominican church family. I have so much love for the people here. ❤️

It doesn’t matter where we go in the world, children are always the same. They are seeking to be loved. What a blessing to be able to show them the love of Jesus. 🙏

Off to a great start here in the Dominican Republic! We are here with Ivan Ortega and Ambssadors to the Nations sharing God’s love with the people of the DR and praying for every child in one of the children’s hospitals. Continue to pray for us and the Dominican people. More to come! 🙏

What a wonderful outreach! We went up to Iglesia Congregación Cristiana El Treinta. The Charis team from Woodland Park, Colorado did the entire service and then helped us hand out over 500 pounds of rice, beans, and cooking oil! That’s over 1000 pounds total. They had suckers for the kids and flashlights for the adults. Thank you partners for making this all possible. And thank you Pastors Ángel y Yolonda for all you do in your community. 🙏
