Corydon Civil Defense Fire & Rescue The Corydon Civil Defense Fire & Rescue was founded in 1954 to serve the Citizens that lived outside the city limits of Corydon.

Offically founded in 1954 the Corydon Civil Defense Fire & Rescue (CCD) was formed by a dedicated group of men who wanted to provide fire protection to the citizen living outside the city limits of Corydon. In the late 90's the City FD closed its doors and the CCD now is the primary response department to the City along with the out lying area. We operate out of 1 unmanned station. Recently with the help from Fire Captain P.Brewster and Mayor L.Thurby the CCD was awarded a grant to build us a new fire station.

Corydon Civil Defense, Cairo FD, Henderson City/County Rescue, Robards FD, and Henderson Co sheriff’s department are working the incident.

🚁✈️ Henderson Aviation Day is Saturday! ✈️🚁

Join us at Henderson City-County Airport THIS Saturday, 10/17 from 10-2 to see airplanes, helicopters, and food trucks, plus you can purchase scenic flights over Henderson! An event for the whole family to see what the airport is all about.

Remember our burgoo is this Saturday, October 17th sales start at 11:00 Price is $28.00 this includes container. No pre sales, no one allowed on site except Robards Fire Dept. members and those assisting with the burgoo. Line up is the same as last year there will be signs. Thanks for everyone's support.
