HAVE YOU EVER HEARD THE TERM, "WISH-CYCLING?" We all are guilty of it sometime or another! Like when we throw that potato chip bag or that styrofoam cup in with the recyclables because we are not sure and just hope that it will get recycled. Or that plastic container that has a recycling sign on the bottom. Unfortunately, just because a product has a recycling sign found on it does not mean that your local recycling center accepts it. Please check out this article to learn more about wish-cycling, its effects, and how to stop it.

Wish-cycling is the act of throwing something not recyclable into recycling because you think you are doing the right thing. Reality: it's contamination.
