Is Your Family Prepared for an Emergency?

Remember the ice storm of 2009? What about the COVID-19 pandemic? Both reminded us how important it is to be prepared when the unexpected happens!

Join us for our Family Preparedness Class on October 21 at 5:30 p.m. and learn how to prepare your pantry for emergencies and make sure your family is ready when it matters most.

Hello Friends of Henderson County Extension Service! We will be having a sewing workshop on learning how to make a Jelly Roll Rug. If you would like to learn how, please call the office and sign up for this class. Participants will need to purchase the kit on Amazon. If you don't have a sewing machine, we have sewing machines that you can use to make the project, or you can bring your own.

Henderson County Master Gardeners Wreath Event - Saturday, November 28th 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, Sunday, November 29th 2 pm to 4 pm and Thursday, December 3rd 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm are available for the general public. Please call the Henderson County Extension Office at (270) 826-8387 to reserve your spot.
The costs are 8-inch wreath is $25, 12-inch wreath is $30, 16-inch wreath is $35, 24-inch wreath is $40, and a 16-inch arch is $30. NEW THIS YEAR is a Tree Gnome for $20
