At Henderson Collegiate, our mission goes far beyond preparing scholars for college—it’s about empowering them to lead purposeful, consequential lives that uplift our community. 🌟

Over Fall Break, when they could have simply rested, a group of dedicated scholars put that mission into action. These students volunteered their personal time to help prepare and set up a local Breast Cancer Gala dedicated to raising awareness and supporting women battling breast cancer.

From setting up the venue to organizing materials, our scholars worked behind the scenes to create a warm, welcoming, and dignified atmosphere for survivors, families, and supporters.

True character is defined by what you do when no one is grading you. By choosing service over their break, these students demonstrated the empathy, civic leadership, and heart that define what it means to be a Henderson Collegiate Pride member.

Join us in celebrating these incredible young leaders for making a meaningful difference in our community! 💖👏

Last week marked , but our gratitude for our doesn't stop on Friday. 🍎✨

Long before the morning bell rings, our cafeteria staff is hard at work prepping balanced meals that keep our students energized and ready to learn. What they serve goes far beyond food on a tray:

❤ Daily encouragement: A kind smile in the lunch line often turns a student's whole day around.
❤ Fuel for learning: You can't teach a hungry child. They ensure every student is nourished and ready to focus.
❤ Heart and dedication: Serving hundreds of students every day with consistency, care, and speed is no small feat.

To our incredible nutrition staff: thank you for the early mornings, the hard work, and the extra servings of kindness you dish out every day. 🥪🥦

When students choose to spend their weekend investing in their future, you know something special is happening! ✨

A massive shoutout to the 49 incredibly driven 7th and 8th graders from who showed up and showed out for the Watch Us Rise Saturday Academy #2 led by Coach David Cirino, MS Dean of Cultural Development & Instructional Coach

With the Math benchmark coming up this week, these students aren't just hoping for success—they are actively building it. We had 41 dedicated mathematicians putting in the hard work, guided and uplifted by 8 outstanding peer tutors who stepped up to lead.

This is what community, leadership, and academic excellence look like in action. We are so incredibly proud of your dedication and teamwork. Let’s go crush those benchmarks! 📈💪🧠

Every Friday during Hispanic Heritage Month, our students are participating in special history classes to bring different aspects of Hispanic culture to life! 🌎✨

Recently, our students learned about the history and origins of the traditional game El Pañuelo (The Handkerchief)—and then headed out to play it themselves! 🏃🏽‍♀️💨🏃‍♂️
