The VGCC Psychology Club and the Counseling, Accessibility, and Support Services (CASS) Department invite students, employees, and community members to participate in our Coat & Holiday Food Drive from November 2-19.

As temperatures begin to drop and the holiday season approaches, many individuals and families experience increased need. Together, we can provide warmth, comfort, and nourishment to those who may be facing challenging circumstances.

🧤 Donate new or gently used coats, jackets, sweaters, scarves, gloves, hats, and other cold-weather accessories.
🥫 Donate nonperishable food items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, peanut butter, and soup.

📍 Drop off donations at the Front/Main Desk of all VGCC campuses (as well as the Student Lounge, Building 8 Lobby, and Building 6 Room 6111 on the Henderson campus)

No donation is too small. Every contribution helps support individuals and families in our college and local communities.

The Henderson Vance County Chamber is so pleased to have Ambassadors who support Chamber activities and events. Ambassadors have an opportunity to not only represent and promote the Chamber, but also connect and engage with other members, local elected officials and key business stakeholders, while also promoting their own business at various Chamber events. From business planning and free, confidential counseling to training, funding resources, and connections with community partners, support is available to help you take the next step toward business ownership.

OK ladies! Our last Women in Business Lunch and Learn for 2026 will be held on Monday, November 23rd at 12 noon at Kerr Lake Country Club. Lunch will be provided and registration is required. Dr. Linda R. Jordon, LRJordon Consultants will be our speaker, "Peace, Purpose & Holiday Tea". Wear your tea party attire, optional. We are partnering with Henderson Chiropractic Center in collecting new and unwrapped toys for their toy drive and will have a donation box at the luncheon if you would like to donate. We would love to have you join us!
