From Lynne Russo: This is it.

Since September, NCFREE, a nonpartisan group that rates North Carolina legislative races, has moved House District 117 twice: from Likely Republican to Lean Republican, and on Oct. 29, to Tossup. Among contested races in Western North Carolina, ours is now second only to Lindsey Prather’s. NCFREE also rates control of the entire NC House a tossup, and this seat could help decide it.

A race this close can come down to a few hundred votes. Here’s what I need from you:

1. Vote. Early voting ends Saturday. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.

2. Text five friends and make sure they’ve voted.

3. Bring a neighbor with you.

If you can, please contribute to our campaign in these final days. It will make a real difference in reaching voters before Tuesday. Link in bio.

We can win this. Let’s go.

It may seem as if everyone knows EARLY VOTING ends in less than 3 days--at 3 pm on SAT OCT 31, ie Halloween! But you might be surprised!!!! Take a minute to send a freindly reminder to your friends and family to make sure they know. They can register and vote at Early Voting locations and mail-in ballots can be delivered to Early Voting locations, too. (It's probably too late to mail and expect your ballot to arrive in time.) Election Day is TUESDAY NOV 3 and everyone must vote at their assigned precinct. On Election Day, mail-in ballots may be returned to the Board of Elections only. But people with mail-in ballots may also make a change of plans and vote in person, either at Early Voting or on Election Day. We recommend Early Voting for anyone who can!
