Today, Henderson County was honored to welcome Vice President JD Vance for a Republican rally celebrating the values that make America strong: faith, family, freedom, and opportunity. Vice President Vance received a warm and enthusiastic reception from supporters across Henderson County and Western North Carolina.

The visit highlighted the important role Western North Carolina plays in shaping our nation's future and provided conservatives from across the region with an opportunity to come together, demonstrate their support, and hear firsthand about the policies and vision that can keep America moving forward.

During his remarks, Vice President Vance stressed the importance of voter participation and encouraged Republicans to remain actively engaged as we approach the upcoming midterm elections. He emphasized that every vote matters and that continued grassroots involvement will be essential to advancing conservative principles at both the state and national levels.

The stakes in these elections are significant. Republicans must remain united and committed to electing strong conservative leaders who will defend individual liberty, promote economic growth, secure our borders, and uphold the values that have made our nation exceptional. That includes supporting Michael Whatley for Senate and Jennifer Balkcom for Congress

Republicans believe the alternative would be a return to policies associated with the Biden administration, which many conservatives view as harmful to economic prosperity, energy independence, public safety, and personal freedoms. Voters will have a clear choice regarding the future direction of North Carolina and our nation.
