We’re thankful for our church partners at Redeemer Church for bringing their middle school girls group to serve with us tonight! ❤️

These girls are being the hands and feet of Jesus by helping us tackle our ever-growing piles of toys and stuffed animals.

They’re making a real dent in the piles, and we promise… minimal playing with the toys occurred. 😂🧸

We’re grateful for churches like Redeemer who teach the next generation that serving our neighbors is one way we show the love of Christ!

Thank you, Redeemer! 🙌

🙌 Worship filled the Samaritan Center this morning!

What a blessing to begin the day in God’s Word and then watch the church put faith into action!

We opened this morning in Numbers 16:46–47, a passage that reminds us of the urgency of standing in the gap for others. Then, Community Church showed up ready to serve our neighbors!

With 30 volunteers rolling up their sleeves, they:

👕 Sorted 1,000 pounds of donated clothing!
🧹 Vacuumed the thrift store and dusted shelves.
🥫 Swept and cleaned the food bank.

They gave their Sunday to serve, care for the resources God has entrusted to us, and help HSA continue serving our neighbors in need.

The church didn’t just gather for worship today. They carried that worship into the community through service. ❤️

Thank you Community Church of Hendersonville, for reminding us that serving our neighbors is a beautiful way to live out our faith!

1,200 pounds of clothing. 429 cubic feet. One incredible group of volunteers!

A huge thank you to Pope Saint John Paul II Preparatory School for spending the day serving at Hendersonville Samaritan Center!

These students sorted approximately 1,200 pounds of clothing from a pile measuring 13 feet long, 6 feet wide, and 5½ feet tall. That's nearly 16 cubic yards of clothing!

They also organized our donation area and decluttered our conference room, making room for more community and partner meetings.

They were a joy to have with us. Their hard work and willingness to serve our neighbors made a tremendous difference.

Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus and helping us serve our community with compassion and dignity. We are so grateful for you! ❤️
