Hermiston Parks & Recreation presents Nature Through My Lens, a FREE nature photography competition!

Capture nature within Hermiston city limits during November!

Age Divisions: 9–11, 12–15 & 16+

Selected photographers will be invited to display their work at the Hermiston Community Center!

Gallery visitors will vote for their favorite photograph, and the photo with the most votes will WIN A PRIZE!
Phones and cameras welcome!

Completely FREE to enter!

Submission Deadline: November 30, 2026

How to Enter:
Email up to two photos to [email protected]. Include your name, age, and where your photos were taken.

Selected finalists must provide their own printed, gallery-ready photograph.

Join Hermiston Parks & Recreation at the Veterans Day Breakfast on Wednesday, November 11th 8:00am at the Hermiston Community Center. This is a free event honoring all veterans, active duty service men and women and their families.

If you would like to include a photo for the veterans slide show please send it to [email protected] and include first and last name of person in photo.

May 22–23, 2027 | Hermiston, Oregon
We’re bringing a brand-new youth baseball tournament to Hermiston—and we’re making it more than just a weekend of games.
Come ready for competitive baseball and some Hermiston-style fun along the way! Teams can look forward to a 4-game guarantee plus watermelon-themed events like our Home Run Derby, Home Plate Smashing Competition and more throughout the weekend.
