All personnel (including families and friends of service members) have a responsibility to ensure that no information that might put our military members in jeopardy or would be of use to our adversaries is posted to websites that are readily accessible to the public. Other information that's not as obvious but should also not be discussed in an open forum includes daily military activities and operations, equipment status, unit morale, and results of operations. Any of these topics, if released in an open medium, have the ability to provide our adversaries opportunities to harm our military members. Up to six additional guests get 50% off. Their tickets are discounted, not free.
Verify eligibility and book online before you go.

3. San Diego Zoo and Safari Park
Qualifying active-duty military receive complimentary admission with a valid military CAC.
This is an everyday benefit, not just a Veterans Day offer. Family admission is generally separate.

4. Colonial Williamsburg

One deadline to act on now:
SeaWorld San Diego’s separate complimentary offer for eligible veterans and retirees requires tickets to be claimed AND used by October 25, 2026.
Free admission does not mean a free trip.

Parking, food, reservations, and special events may cost extra. Check eligibility, guest limits, and operating days before you pack the car.

Save this for your next family trip.

Oregon Summer Star is Oregon's only overnight summer camp for kids impacted by their family's military service. OSS serves military kids from across the state with trauma-informed, wrap-around programming tailored to their experiences. A week of camp builds community, character, and resilience, along with classic summer camp fun- offering caregivers a week of respite, and giving kids a chance to set their burdens down and be kids.

OSS 2026 will take place at Camp Cedar Ridge (Vernonia, OR) from Sunday July 19–Friday July 24. Registration is still open, payment plans and financial assistance are both still available! Register today at bit.ly/OSS26. Learn more about our program at oregonsummerstar.org.
