🤖🧱 Lego Robotics Club is ON THE MOVE! 🧱🤖

Our K–2 Lego Robotics students had a blast learning about motors, motion sensors, and coding this week!

For their challenge, our young engineers built Lego “snacks” and feeding stations for elephants 🐘🍎, then used motors and motion sensors to help their elephants move toward the food!

We loved watching them build, test, problem-solve, and try again as they brought their creations to life! 💡🤖

We can’t wait to see what they create next! 🚀 :::

🦈🥑 Fresh flavors and new friendships at our first elementary Shark Social!
To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, our students learned how to make guacamole and aguas frescas from scratch! 🍹 Through hands-on learning, our Sharks explored flavors and traditions while spending time together.

What a delicious way to celebrate culture and build our school community! 💙

Our 4th-grade scientists put their engineering skills to the test by building digital skate parks in Nearpod while studying potential and kinetic energy. During a live Zoom session, students explained how energy transfers as the skater moves through the course. We love seeing critical thinking and science come to life!
