⚾️ A BIG DAY FOR HIALEAH BASEBALL! ⚾️

On Monday,, we celebrated the culmination of an incredible partnership between the City of Hialeah Parks & Community Engagement Department and the Miami Marlins, bringing a major investment in Babcock Park and, most importantly, in our youth.

Through this partnership, Hialeah’s young athletes will have access to a FREE youth recreational baseball program designed to keep kids on the field, develop their skills, and make the game more accessible to families in our community.

As the cost of competitive and travel baseball continues to rise, programs like this help provide another path for children to experience the game without the financial barriers that can come with travel baseball.

Joined by the Commissioner of Major League Baseball himself, Rob Manfred, we’re proud to see Babcock Park become a place where more kids can play, more families can participate, and more young athletes can dream. 💙⚾️

A special thank you to the Miami Marlins and Major League Baseball for believing in Hialeah’s youth and investing in our community!

This is what community partnership looks like. 🙌

🌳💙 July is Parks & Recreation Month! 💙🌳

This month, we’re celebrating The Power Of Parks & Recreation and the incredible impact our parks, programs, and people have on the Hialeah community every day.

The power of a neighborhood park where friendships begin.

The power of a coach who inspires confidence.

The power of a playground filled with laughter.

The power of a summer camp that creates lifelong memories.

The power of a community coming together.

We’re so proud to provide spaces where residents of all ages can play, learn, stay active, and connect. From youth sports and aquatics to cultural events, fitness programs, and beautiful parks, every experience helps build a healthier, stronger, and more connected Hialeah.

Join us throughout July as we celebrate the people, places, and programs that make our parks the heart of our community.

✨ Because together, we are discovering The Power Of Parks & Recreation.
