Last night, our Hialeah Fire Department firefighters responded to a vacant house fire and quickly initiated both an interior and exterior attack to bring the fire under control. Their fast and aggressive actions prevented the fire from spreading to any nearby structures and helped protect the surrounding community.

Last night, our crews responded to a working structure fire and acted quickly to contain the flames and prevent further spread to neighboring units.
Through aggressive fire attack and coordinated operations, firefighters were able to bring the incident under control while protecting surrounding homes and property.

Hialeah Firefighters responded quickly to a garbage truck fire, working aggressively to contain and extinguish the flames before they could spread further. Crews operated from multiple sides of the vehicle while cooling hotspots and protecting nearby exposures.
Incidents like these can escalate rapidly due to fuel loads and compressed materials inside sanitation trucks, making fast action critical.

Our Fire Chief, along with members of our Dive Team, HazMat Team, and Training Division, represented our department, working side by side with residents in support of this great effort.
One day at a time, we are all doing our part to help keep Hialeah clean and beautiful.
