Yesterday DOEA released an online survey, Florida SAFE Survey, to allow Florida residents, especially older adults, to make a self-assessment of their behaviors.

A healthy diet is key to fighting depression. When speaking to senior loved ones, please make sure they are eating 3 healthy meals a day. Several recent research analyses looking at multiple studies support that there is a link between what one eats and our risk of depression.

Today our team was out working hard bringing needed produce to the residents of Hialeah Housing Authority! We distributed 8 pallets totaling around 8,000 lbs of fresh produce.
Our center is currently providing meals to our most fragile residents and providing wellness checks.
