The Hicksville Police Department has received multiple complaints involving fraud through the use of fake Apple Pay customer service. The complainants of these calls have advised they were contact via notification on their phones, about issues related to Apple Pay, and to contact a listed number.

They are then walked through different ways of providing payment to the fraudsters. Please stay vigilant, and know that well known big name companies will never ask for payment to resolve issues with their services, especially not through the use of outside payment services.

Please Contact the Hicksville Police Department at 419-542-6661, or your local Jurisdiction should fraud or attempted fraud occur. Thank you.
