Today we responded to a report of smoke filling an apartment. A young child noticed the smoke and alerted his mom who then called 911. Thanks to that young man's quick action, everyone was able to stay safe! GOOD WORK YOUNG MAN!!

‼️⚠️Red Flag Warning now in effect for northern half of MO from noon to 6 pm - Watch was upgraded to Warning and expanded into Central and East-Central Missouri by NWS!
⚠️The combination of low humidity, gusty southwesterly winds, and dry
vegetation will support dangerous fire spread.
⚠️Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged in the warning area. Make sure all fires are fully extinguished, and monitor recent burns for redevelopment.
