On the 25th anniversary of September 11, the HPU community came together in remembrance of the 2,977 lives lost and the courage of those who answered the call to serve.

Students planted 2,977 American flags, took on the 110 Flights Stair Challenge, and raised $28,250 for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, with 1,400 students participating.

A powerful day of remembrance, service, and gratitude. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Participants will climb the steps of Cottrell Amphitheater in remembrance of the first responders and countless others whose courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Freshmen, it’s your time to make your mark at High Point University!

Freshman Class Elections are officially around the corner, and this is your opportunity to get involved, represent the Class of 2030, and help shape your first year at HPU.

Applications open August 31 at 9:00 AM. All interested candidates must attend the Mandatory Campaign Meeting and Mandatory Interest Meeting.

Election Timeline:
• Mandatory Interest Meeting — August 30, 7:00–8:00 PM
• Applications Open — August 31, 9:00 AM
• Mandatory Campaign Meeting — September 2, 7:00 PM
• Campaign Period — September 3 at 9:00 AM through September 9 at 12:00 PM
• Meet the Candidates — September 3, 5:00 PM
• Voting Opens — September 7, 9:00 AM
• Voting Closes — September 9, 8:00 AM
• Results Announced — September 10, 12:00 PM
• Swearing-In Ceremony — September 10, 7:00 PM
