🥎🚒 Highland Park Fire Department Takes the Field! 🚒🥎

Members of the Highland Park Fire Department had a great time participating in the annual Schaumburg Professional Firefighters Association IAFF LOCAL 4092 Softball Tournament!

We battled hard, competed until the final out, and represented HPFD with pride. We may not have walked away with the trophy, but there was no shortage of big plays, competitive fire, and plenty of good times along the way.

A big thank you to the Schaumburg Fire Department for putting together another great tournament and hosting all of us! 👏🔥

🇺🇸 WE WILL NEVER FORGET 🇺🇸

Today, the Highland Park Fire Department remembers the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, including the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice while answering the call.

We honor the firefighters, police officers, first responders, military members, and civilians whose courage and selflessness defined one of our nation’s darkest days.

Twenty-five years later, their sacrifice is never forgotten. Their courage continues to inspire those who serve today.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

The convention provided an opportunity to collaborate with fellow firefighters from across the state, participate in educational sessions, discuss legislative issues, and help shape the future of our union. We appreciate the dedication of our members who represented Local 822 and remain committed to serving both our membership and the community.
