"Sepsis" was the word of the day while crews were lead through a class on the topic presented by Kaitlin, RN from HSHS Rescue Flight. From symptoms to SIRS criteria to aggressive treatment, crews are better prepared for their next patient presenting with this common but life-threatening emergency. Thank you, Kaitlin, and thanks to Marine Fire Department for lending your firehouse!
