The 43rd Annual National Rolley Hole Championship Marbles & Music Festival is tomorrow (Saturday, September 19th).

Notes before you arrive:

*The Rolley Hole Tournament itself starts at 8 am and will likely last all day and into the night.
*Live music starts at 10 am and will end around 6 pm.
*See schedule/flyer for other marble tournaments and festivity times. (Schedule/flyer will be available at the event and has previously been posted on this page.)
*Parking is limited, but we will have a shuttle throughout the day which will run in between the rec. hall, park office, and shelter 5 (below the dam).
*Many vendors (food, tickets, marble, etc.) will be cash only.
*It will be hot! Rangers are here to assist in medical emergencies, but staying hydrated and in the shade will help prevent the need.

A reminder of the bracket for tomorrow! We can’t wait to see you all!

This afternoon we had the live drawing in the park to set the 2026 Rolley Hole Marbles Championship Bracket. 16 teams will compete this year in the Super Bowl of Marbles! Games begin at 8:00 am CST Saturday (Sept. 19).

Hope to see you all for the event! Music! Marbles! Food! Fun!

IT'S ALMOST TIME!!! The National Rolley Hole Championship Marbles & Music Festival!!!

Saturday is the BIG day!!! Games starts at 8 am with music starting at 10 am. Various marble games, marble making demonstrations, crafts, marble hunts, live Bluegrass and Old-Time Music, food vendors, etc. Admission is FREE!!! We hope to see you here!!!

Note: Bring CASH as many vendors will not be able to take card!

Did you know that Standing Stone State Park is home to a small family of otters? 🦦

The otters pictured below were seen in Kelly Lake this morning eating a hearty breakfast of turtle!

🦦Facts🦦
The Northern American River Otter is a graceful, powerful swimmer and is very sociable. They may be seen in aquatic habitats all across the state. It is a medium-sized, elongated mammal with a cylindrical body; a broad, flattened head with a prominent nose pad and whiskers; and a long, heavy tail that is fully furred and tapers from a broad base to a point. The fur is dark brown (appears black when wet), while the undercoat is pale brown or gray. Muzzle and throat are silver to gray in color. The ears are small, and the feet are webbed.

Length: 35.5 - 53 inches
Tail: 11.8 - 18 inches
Ears: 0.9 - 1.1 inches
Weight: 10 - 25 pounds

Diet: Fish and crayfish are favorite prey items, but they will eat frogs, salamanders, snails, turtles, birds, earthworms, and aquatic insect larvae
