Ladies and gentlemen, it is in the books.

JUDGES CHOICE for best chili of the 2026 Utah Fire Fighter Chili Cook Off went to yours truly.

Shout out to our Chili specialists Caleb Decay who made an outstanding "Island chili" served with a side of rice and Jake Spatz for his "Kitchen Sink" white chicken chili which is the official judges choice selection for best chili!

Thank you again to all the firefighters and families who volunteered to help serve, donate, and support the University of Utah burn camp and our booth this year.

Way to home that hardware fellas!

Beds pillows and blankets can trap heat and block air flow which will result in heating up the batteries. Use hard surfaces when charging.

🚒 2nd Annual Hill AFB Fire & Emergency Services Open House! 🚒

What an awesome turnout! We had a great time welcoming Team Hill families into the firehouse for our 2nd Annual Open House. Seeing so many families come out, and especially watching the kiddos enjoy the activities, fire trucks, demonstrations, and time with our firefighters, made the day a huge success.

A big thank you to Layton City Fire Department, Devil’s Pit BBQ, America First Credit Union, American Red Cross, and Intermountain Health for joining us and helping make this event even better.

Most of all, thank you to the Hill AFB community for showing up! Events like this give us a chance to have some fun while building relationships and sharing the importance of fire and life safety.

We’re already looking forward to next year! 🚒🔥👨‍🚒
