🌟 Congratulations to our Library Teen Council member, Sanaa Ram!

Sanaa has been crowned Teen Miss Oregon Rose and Miss Oregon Jr. Teen, championing a cause close to our hearts: increasing access to literacy!

From teaching English to recent immigrants to helping students build digital literacy skills and self-publishing children’s books about self-acceptance, Sanaa is making a difference in her community. She also inspires other teens to discover all the library has to offer!

An adventure with Oro, the Forest Giant!

Join our librarians for a fun bilingual (English-Spanish) StoryWalk adventure featuring "Oro the Forest Giant," a bilingual children’s book by local author N.D. Byma.

Thursday, October 22
Hidden Creek Park East: 300 NE 53rd Ave, Hillsboro, OR 97123. (Near the sprayground)
StoryWalk: 10:15 - 10:45 am, Meet the author 11 am to noon.

Enjoy a nature walk, a lively read-aloud, and a story celebrating friendship, inclusion, bravery, and exploring the outdoors.

After the StoryWalk, follow the librarians to Hidden Creek Recreation Center to meet the author .D.Byma from 11 am – noon.
