It’s Bus Safety Week in Eagle Nation!

Our Eagles are on the move, and safety comes first! This week, we’re reminding all students to buckle up, stay seated while the bus is moving, listen to their drivers, and treat others with kindness and respect.

A big thank-you to our bus drivers for safely getting our Eagles to and from school each day!

The Board of Education approved moving the end of the first semester from December 18, 2026, to January 15, 2027. This adjustment will create a more balanced academic calendar, with 75 instructional days in the first semester and 76 instructional days in the second semester.

Attention Eagle Nation! We are excited to announce that we are once again holding our Veteran's Day Breakfast on Wednesday, November 11th. It will be in the High School Cafeteria from 8:30am-9:15am. The RSVP form is available in the link and flyer below. We are also tremendously excited to announce a District Assembly for the community to be a part of. It will be in the High School Gym from 9:30am-10:15am. We will see presentations from Student Council, Grandview Bands, Grandview Choirs, VFW, and more! We are also looking to honor our Veterans and Active Service Members during this and are asking for families to submit pictures and information of their Veterans and Active Service members. Use the same form below to submit pictures and information. The deadline to submit pictures and RSVP is Friday, October 30th! Thank you for helping us continue to expand on this great opportunity to show our love and appreciation for those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for us!

We are excited to announce that Katelyn Bilin, our very own Music Teacher at Grandview R2, has been selected to participate in a very special opportunity with musicians of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, November 1, 2026. Extra Credit Choral at Powell Hall will provide Katelyn with the opportunity to rehearse and perform a concert with SLSO musicians and resident chorus members under the direction of Conductors Erin Freeman and Kevin McBeth.

The concert is free and open to the public, and complimentary tickets are available here.

The benefits of music education in our schools are numerous and well documented. Extra Credit Choral at Powell Hall provides an opportunity to celebrate the educators who inspire the effort required by their students to study music and perform successfully in an ensemble.

Breakfast will be from 8:30-9:15 at the High School cafeteria and the assembly will follow at 9:30 in the High School gym.
