We had a pumpkin theme today at Little Bookworms Story Time and read two wonderful board books: "Duck and Goose find a pumpkin" by Tad Hills and "From seed to pumpkin" by Jill McDonald.

We did something different this week for a craft. We had a sandwich bag with a jack-o-lantern face drawn on. We had a dab of red paint and a dab of yellow paint in the bag, and the children mixed the colors together with their fingers to turn the pumpkin orange! A fun squishy craft!

Little bookworms meets every Thursday at 10:30am. There is never a cost, registration, or library card required to attend. This event is geared to little ones ages 0-5 and their caregivers. Older siblings are always welcomed! Join us!

We have FULL shelves again in our used book sale! We are offering a deal on a bag of books for $3 through November. Stop in during our regular hours to check it out!

We are open on M and T from 10-6, W through F from 10-5, and Saturdays from 10-1.

We are now accepting craft supply donations for our Craft Supply Swap coming Nov. 14th! Crowded craft room? We'll take those extra supplies off your hands!

Drop your supplies off to our circulation desk during our regular open hours. Or you can bring your items on the day of the swap.

We have a basket in our entrance hallway for "Wrap our Community in Warmth" supporting Share the Warmth during Homelessness Awareness Month. This effort is a cooperation of Community Action Agency, BHSJ Community Health Agency, Local libraries, and local churches.

Donate hand warmers, socks, gloves, and blankets to help our homeless residents stay warm! Donations stay in Hillsdale County. Questions? 517-437-2647.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 21, our friends at **South Michigan Food Bank** are bringing a whole lot of goodness to King's Kupboard!

We're expecting fresh apples, potatoes, winter squash, eggs, butter, beans, breakfast foods, and more!

🥕 **FREE Pop-Up Fresh Distribution begins at 3 PM!**

🥫 **King's Kupboard opens at 3:30 PM**, and guests are welcome to receive additional groceries from the pantry, too!
