Are you in middle school and interested in hands on learning and leadership? If so, join us for the Middle School Retreat at the Robinson Center in Jackson on October 15th and 16th. The Knott County Extension office would like to send condolences to the family of Dean Craft.

Dean was a long-time Extension supporter, with over 30 years of volunteer service to UK Cooperative Extension. Dean was instrumental in building the extension facilities we have today and was always proud to be a supporter of Knott County Extension Service.

Funeral services for Dean Edward Craft will be held at Hindman Funeral Services Chapel, Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 1:00PM with Mike Caudill, Steven Bell, and Josh Durden officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Memory Gardens at Hindman, Kentucky. Visitation will be held at the Chapel Friday evening from 6:00-9:00PM with Eastern Star and Masonic Rites services at 7:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dean’s memory to The Gideons International or Bluegrass Care Navigators.
