City of Midway Adopts Hazard Mitigation Plan

At tonight’s meeting, the City of Midway officially adopted the Liberty County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan.

This plan helps identify natural and human-caused hazards that could impact our community and outlines steps that can be taken to reduce risks to our residents, property, and critical infrastructure.

Participation in and adoption of this plan also helps ensure that the City of Midway remains eligible for important FEMA hazard mitigation grant programs, which can provide funding for projects that strengthen and protect our community.

Planning ahead is an important part of keeping Midway prepared, resilient, and ready for the future. ❤️🏡
