🍔 For the second year, Wahlburgers will graciously be bringing their food truck for some much needed lunch options.

🍦 This year, Nona’s is stopping by with delicious treats.

🚗 We’d also like to thank Express Towing for donating a car for our vehicle extrication demonstration once again.

Parking in rear lot / Police side. Please note that the MBTA lot is pay to park. Enter through police station, or make your way safely around the building via walkways to the Lincoln St side for the fun.

Hingham Emergency Management Director Steve Murphy is encouraging all Hingham residents to enroll in Smart911, a free emergency notification service provided by the Plymouth County Sheriff's Department.

Smart911 allows emergency officials to quickly notify residents during emergencies, severe weather events, public safety incidents, evacuations, and other critical situations. The system can send alerts to home phones, cell phones, text messages, and email addresses based on the information residents provide during enrollment.

Watering Ban

We are urging residents who are not complying with the lawn-watering ban to do so. We are starting to lose capacity in the tanks due to heat, deteriorating groundwater levels, lack of rain, and drought.

The WRWS and the Hingham Fire Department cannot stress enough the importance of having adequate tank capacity for fire protection.

TOTAL OUTDOOR WATER BAN ISSUED

Effective Immediately – Towns of Hingham, Hull, and North Cohasset

The Weir River Water System, in partnership with the Towns of Hingham, Hull, and North Cohasset, has issued a Total Outdoor Water Ban. We are currently experiencing low water reserves in our storage tanks due to overconsumption and drought conditions.

All outdoor water use is prohibited until further notice.
