🚓🚒 NATIONAL FIRST RESPONDERS DAY

Today, we recognize the men and women of the Police Department, Fire Department and all first responders who serve our community.

Whether answering an emergency call, educating residents, visiting local schools or participating in community events, our first responders do more than protect Hobart. They are neighbors, mentors and familiar faces who step up when our community needs them most.

Today's first responders carry on the work of generations who served Hobart before them. We also remember those who lost their lives in the line of duty. Their sacrifice will not be forgotten.

To all who have served and those who continue to answer the call, thank you.

💙 Happy National First Responders Day!

❤️ COMMUNITY DONATION UPDATE

Following last night’s fire, 21 families have been displaced from their homes. We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support our community has already shown for those impacted.

We are currently working directly with the affected families and property manager to put together a specific list of items that are most needed.

We kindly ask that you hold off on dropping off donations for now so we can make sure the generosity of our community goes directly toward what the families need specifically.

We will share the donation list and drop-off location this afternoon.

Thank you, Hobart, for always stepping up to support our neighbors when they need us most. ❤️
