CASA’s Princess Carter has had quite the week!

From her daily job at the office to visits at the Juvenile Detention Center, Carter has been on the go! She visited a new school, Coronado Elementary, and even made her way back to Highland Middle School for another visit.

Everywhere she goes, Carter brings a little happiness, hope, and encouragement with her. But she has a special way of giving a little extra love to those who need it most. 💕 She may be a busy girl, but she never forgets why she’s there—to remind children that they are seen, they are valued, and they are not alone.

By the end of the week, this girl is EXHAUSTED… but her heart is FULL! 🥹💗
And if you need a little smile today, take a moment to listen to the most adorable video of the kids saying bye to our girl! We promise it will put a smile on your face!

That’s our girl—making her rounds, spreading love, and leaving a little more hope wherever she goes. 💜👑

Despite the cold and windy weather, CASA was proud to be present at today’s Domestic Violence Awareness Day event. 💜

Standing together for survivors, families, and our community is so important. Domestic violence can affect people in ways we may not always see, which is why showing up, speaking out, offering support, and reminding others that they are not alone matters so much.

Together, we stand. Together, we support. Together, we are stronger. 💜

Yesterday, Carter girl showed up and showed OUT for our community.

She had the sweetest opportunity to spend time at Highland Middle School, helping support the incredible staff and students as our community continues to navigate such a heavy time.

Throughout the day, Carter showed up in so many different ways — holding hands (and paws 🐾), comforting the kids with a quiet nap beside them, offering sweet cuddles, and even stopping for a picture or two. Sometimes, you don’t need words to make someone feel a little less alone. Sometimes, simply being there is enough.

Carter was absolutely AMAZING yesterday! Her gentle presence brought comfort, smiles, and a little bit of light to a day that has been difficult for so many.

This is what community looks like. This is what showing up for one another looks like. In times of hurt and uncertainty, we love a little harder, support a little stronger, and remind each other that no one has to walk through the hard moments alone.

So proud of Carter and so grateful for everyone who continues to show up, love, support, and lift up our Hobbs community. ❤️🐾

We are in this together. 🤍

Our hearts and prayers are with everyone affected by today’s horrific incident. ❤️‍🩹

Events like this can be deeply traumatic, not only for those directly involved, but for families, friends, witnesses, first responders, and the entire community. Please remember that it’s okay to feel shaken, scared, angry, or overwhelmed.

Let’s be there for one another, check in on those we love, offer compassion, and support each other through this difficult time. You never know how much a simple message, a listening ear, or a little kindness may mean to someone today.

Keeping everyone involved and affected in our thoughts and prayers. 🙏
