Fellowship Housing is an independent, 501c3 non-profit organization that serves the needs of greater Chicago-land area single moms and their children who are struggling for stability and often one small crisis away from homelessness. The mission of Fellowship Housing is to empower single moms to build a new legacy. We do this through a two year transitional housing program that focuses on accountability and a path to independence. We believe single moms are some of the hardest working people on the planet. It is our joy and honor to come alongside them in times of crisis so they can re-gain stability, break cycles of poverty, and build a new legacy for their families. Anna* joyfully walked into her one-year review, ready to reflect on a year of both challenges and victories. She shared that the past few months brought hard moments and plans that didn't go as expected. Through it all, Anna focused on her growth, and she has a lot to celebrate. In just one year, Anna raised her credit score by more than 100 points and went past the $6,500 savings goal she set only six months ago. Energized by this success, she set a bold new goal to save an additional $8,000 over the next six months. She has also made strong progress on her car loan and is excited about paying it off in full before she graduates. Anna is moving forward with hope and determination. She has already started her application with Habitat for Humanity and is working toward owning her home before her time in Fellowship Housing ends.

Fellowship Housing is looking for a dedicated Property Coordinator to help ensure the properties are safe, welcoming, and well-maintained for the families we serve.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys coordinating projects, properties, and vendor relationships. Experience in property management, facilities management, or residential maintenance is preferred.

Since 2017, Fellowship Housing’s Legacy Scholarship has helped students pursue their education and career goals after high school. To date, 21 students have received scholarship support, creating opportunities that extend the impact of Fellowship Housing into the next generation.

This year, we are proud to celebrate another Legacy Scholar who graduated from a four-year university with a bachelor’s degree in business. Another student transferred to an out-of-state university, where she will continue her education while pursuing her passion for basketball. We also welcomed a new scholarship recipient who began college this year with enough previously earned credits to be considered a third-year student We are incredibly proud of the determination and accomplishments of each Legacy Scholar.

Through your generosity, these students are building strong foundations for their careers, their families, and their futures. Please join us in praying over our students this year.

Despite a short rain delay, the skies cleared for an incredible day of community, generosity, and impact. Together, we raised $229,000 to help single moms build safer, stronger futures for themselves and their children.

We were honored to hear from Kimberly, a Fellowship Housing graduate who saved $28,000, paid off $15,000 in debt, doubled her salary, earned an 800+ credit score, and purchased a Habitat for Humanity home for her boys.

Kimberly didn’t just receive support. She took every opportunity in front of her and built a new legacy for her family.

Fellowship Housing serves 60 families at a time, but there are more moms waiting for the opportunity to take a breath, make a plan, and move forward.

Thank you to everyone who made this day possible and continues to believe in resilient single mothers and their children.

👟💙 Meet Dads for Moms!

Five guys are stepping up to run for single moms in a big way.

Charles, the Team Captain, is leading the charge to show single moms in our community that they are seen, valued, and supported.

Torance is lacing up to show his support as Fellowship Housing moms work hard to provide for their families.

Daniel is running with his son, Matthew, by his side — a father-son team showing the next generation what it looks like to show up for others.

Kevin rounds out the team, running to help empower single moms toward stability and a brighter future.

Together, they're part of Dads for Moms — running to raise funds so single moms can regain stability, break cycles of poverty, and build a new legacy for their families.
