A huge thank you to Lavelle Law for another incredible year of support!
Since 2017, the attorneys and staff at Lavelle Law have organized their annual Food Drive to help neighbors who utilize the Schaumburg Township’s Food Pantry. This year, Lavelle Law Charities contributed $10,000 to purchase food from Tony’s Fresh Market in Schaumburg, which generously discounted the items purchased. They also donated an additional $16,730 for the Pantry to purchase food and essential items, along with carloads of community donations, including food, diapers and more!
While these contributions will make a meaningful difference for the more than 1,400 households our Food Pantry serves each month, they also highlight a growing challenge. Due to rising food costs, the $10,000 spent purchased just five pallets of food this year, compared with eight pallets last year. Even generous donations simply don't go as far as they once did.
Our Pantry continues to need support, and we need more donors than ever to help keep shelves stocked and provide fresh produce, pantry staples and essential items for local families and individuals.
Thank you to Lavelle Law, Lavelle Law Charities, Tony’s Fresh Market and everyone who contributed to this year's drive. Your generosity makes a real difference 💙
