Never Forget.
Today, the members of Springfield Township Professional Firefighters Local 3544 pause to remember and honor the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001—including the 343 FDNY firefighters, 71 law enforcement officers, and 55 military personnel who answered the call and made the ultimate sacrifice.
Twenty-five years later, we carry their legacy with us every time we put on the gear and step onto the rig. We promise to never forget their sacrifice, to honor their families, and to serve our community with the same devotion they showed on that solemn morning.
May we always remember their bravery, honor their duty, and live worthy of their sacrifice. 🇺🇸

Contract negotiations may be tough right now, but our priorities have always been clear. While Township leaders drag out the bargaining process, Local 3544 is putting our resources and fundraising dollars back into our community.

We are honored to help fund this memorial to help recognize and pay tribute to the brothers and sisters who paved the way before us. Politics will always come and go, but our dedication to this township and our history is unconditional.

Our new Firefighter Memorial is really starting to take shape. Bridgewater Landscaping & Lawn is here today grading the top soil, planting tree’s, and continuing to work to on the landscaping around the memorial. This project could not have been possible without businesses like this donating material, labor, and time to help make this project possible. We can not wait to host our Annual Firefighter Memorial at Station 52 (1534 S. Crissey Rd.) on Saturday October 10th at Noon!
