A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our fire stations last week in honor of Fire Prevention Week! We loved welcoming our community, meeting so many familiar and new faces, and giving you a little glimpse into life at the firehouse.

Opening our doors and connecting with the community we serve is always something special. Thank you for spending part of your week with us, asking great questions, and helping us make fire safety a priority!

🎀 October is almost here, and Hollister has A LOT going on! 🚒

Between the County Fair, Fire Prevention Week, open houses at our fire stations, and Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it’s going to be a busy—and meaningful—month for our community!

This year, Hollister Fire wanted to do something special for all the strong women and families fighting their way through cancer. 💗

We’ll be sporting specially designed Breast Cancer Awareness Hollister Fire T-shirts, and we’re making them available for YOU to purchase too!

🎀 100% of net proceeds will be donated to Healing Partners of the Central Coast, a local organization that provides free support to local cancer patients as they navigate their treatments.

So rep your local fire department, show some love for the women in our community, and support an incredible local cause all at the same time. 💗🚒

🚒 Vehicle Collision Response

Yesterday, Engine 14 out of our San Juan Bautista Station responded to a vehicle collision at the intersection of Anzar Road and Searle Road involving a recreational RV and another vehicle.

Crews provided patient care and assisted at the scene. Only one patient was transported to a local hospital with a compound ankle fracture.

We remind everyone to stay alert behind the wheel, obey posted traffic controls, and give yourself plenty of time and space to react.

🚒 Training Beyond the Pavement! 🌲

Your Hollister firefighters were out today at Hollister Hills State Park putting their off-road driving skills to the test! 🚗 💨

San Benito County is home to a lot of rural and rugged terrain, and when an emergency happens, our firefighters need to be ready to navigate it safely and effectively. Today’s training helps our crews build the experience and confidence needed to reach people wherever they may be.

We’re proud to put in the work today so we’re better prepared to serve our community tomorrow. 💪🔥

Welcome Home, Guys! 🚒🔥

Welcome home to our strike team crew! After 16 days deployed to Oregon, our guys are back home and already getting to work—cleaning up the rig and getting it ready for the next call.

With fires continuing to burn across the West Coast, that next deployment could come sooner than later. We’re incredibly proud of our firefighters for answering the call, supporting communities in need, and representing Hollister with professionalism and dedication.

Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and for always being ready to go when duty calls. Welcome home, brothers!🇺🇸🚒
