Holly Pond Senior Center lost a wonderful and dear man. He was a true inspiration to all. His generosity and determination was just one of the many things we loved about him. He loved a good game of Dominos and was always ready win. He was always avaliable to lend a helping hand, from cooking his amazing pancakes, to editing our monthly calendars. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and everyone who loves Mr. Stan.

Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 10:30 a.m., celebrate the beauty of fall with us at Story Time! We’ll be reading A Is for Autumn by Robert Maass—a colorful story perfect for welcoming the fall season. 🍁📖

After the story, children will create their own colorful fall tree crafts. 🌳🍂

We’ll wrap up our morning with some delightful treats! 🍪✨

Ms. Jackie Horton was inducted into the Alabama Senior Citizen Hall of Fame this past Sunday. She has spent more than 40 yrs volunteering for the Holly Pond Senior Center. She has a true servants heart.. If you can't find her here at the senior center she is out visiting the sick or helping at church. Congratulations Ms. Jackie. We love you and we our honored and blessed to have you in our community. 💚🤍💚
