Recently had the pleasure of welcoming Rani Bender, Chairman of the Board of the Haifa Economic Corporation to Hollywood. Haifa Israel's third largest city with a major port complex that operates as five distinct port facilities on the Mediterranean Sea.

The meeting focused on strengthening international economic ties and exploring strategic partnerships between the City of Hollywood and Haifa. Discussions included AI and advanced technology opportunities as well as collaboration with Port Everglades. The successful meeting will help to strengthen future business and maritime connections between the two cities.

- The Rapid Response event will be held at CareerSource Broward’s South Center in Hollywood from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. on May 4, 2026.

This event will bring career and employment resources to displaced workers following Spirit Airlines announcement on May 2,2026.

Resources available will include resume assistance, job search assistance, career counseling and access to training.
