💛 For most of us, a shopping cart holds groceries. For someone else, it may hold everything they have left. That should make us stop and not judge.
You don’t have to solve homelessness to change someone’s life. Sometimes, you just have to show up🙏 Right now, Beacon needs hygiene items, sweatshirts, nonperishable food and socks. We’re also helping two people obtain IDs—their birth certificates are already secured.

Small steps. Human dignity. Real change. Standing with, not over. Always. 💛

💜Recovery Month begins with what Beacon does every day…showing up💜 In the woods, at the encampments, alongside our community partners—just meeting people exactly where they are. No judgment. Everyone is someone’s mother,father,brother,sister,daughter, son or someone they love. Sometimes, the person showing up today is someone who once needed someone to show up for them. 💜We DO recover💜 🙏I am living proof💜
