We spent some time over at the Homer Elementary School teaching Fire Prevention.
We discussed the importance of smoke detectors in the room that we sleep in, sleeping with the door closed, and practicing evacuation drills at home.
We demonstrated what a firefighter would look and sound like if they had to help a child out to their meeting place.

Reminder...
Homer Fire Department has an Open House on 10/15 from 6pm-8pm @ the station.
