🍊📚💚 Learning Across the Classroom!💚 📚🍊
How cool is it when we can connect a fun topic like citrus fruits in 4-H to the skills we practice every day in ELA?! This week, our fifth graders had the privilege of attending 4-H with Ms. Allie! She taught them about citrus fruits, let them sample some delicious samples, and read a story with them. The students then used their ELA skills to cite text evidence to support their thinking before wrapping up with a fun, creative coloring activity! We love seeing our students make connections between subjects and realize that what we learn in ELA goes far beyond the classroom! A big thank-you to Ms. Allie for making learning engaging, meaningful, and FUN! 🍊

🚌💛 National School Bus Safety Week | October 19–23 💛🚌

This week, we’re celebrating National School Bus Safety Week and recognizing the important role our school bus drivers play in keeping our students safe each day! 👏🚌

A few important reminders for our Panther families:

🛑 STOP when a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop arm extended.
👀 Watch carefully for children entering or exiting the bus.
🚗 Never pass a stopped school bus.
⏰ Give yourself extra time in school zones and around bus stops.
💛 Be patient and alert—our buses carry our most precious cargo!

To our amazing bus drivers: THANK YOU for the care, patience, and dedication you show our students every single day! We appreciate you more than you know! ❤️🖤
