Adults and Teens. Join Matt Rogers of The Lost Borough for more hidden history of Rochester! This time, sharing the stories behind architectural remnants that dot the city landscape and make people wonder "What is/was that?" Curiosities like the "door" in the side of the gorge at High Falls, the building to the left of High Falls, the outline on the right side of the Time Square Building, the mill stones on State Street, the "castle" on Mount Hope Ave by Robinson Drive, etc. People often wonder what these kinds of things were, let's talk about the histories behind such "left behind" artifacts.

Poet Kathleen Wakefield has found that experiencing the reading of poetry in community opens it up in new ways for everyone, whether you've always loved poetry or had less than positive experiences with it! She brings a diverse mini-anthology to each meeting and helps participants discover poems that deeply connect them to their own experiences and to the world. No prior experience with poetry is necessary. Sweet Bites will be held at MPL monthly this fall and participants are welcome to come to any or all of the sessions!.
