Caring for someone experiencing memory loss or dementia-related behaviors? Catholic Charities Hawai‘i is offering a FREE caregiver presentation on Maui to share practical tips and strategies for providing support.

IDEA! is a three-step approach that helps caregivers better understand and respond to dementia-related behaviors:

💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Catholic Charities Hawaiʻi employees wore purple in support of survivors and to raise awareness about domestic violence.

This year’s national theme, “With Survivors, Always,” reminds us that supporting survivors means more than raising awareness. It means standing alongside them, advocating for their safety, and working together to prevent domestic violence.

The campaign reminds us that domestic violence affects people in every community and that each of us has a role to play in ending it.

Together, we can stand with survivors and help build a safer, more compassionate Hawaiʻi. 💜

Our CCH team joined the Honolulu Police Department’s annual Aloha No Nā Kūpuna Senior Safety Conference!

Peter Reyes and Riva Torno were on hand to share information about CCH programs and services, while seniors from our Kulana Hale and Lanakila Multi-Purpose Senior Center programs attended the event.

Our Transportation Services Program also provided rides for eight Kulana Hale seniors, helping them take part in the day’s activities.

Mahalo to HPD for another great opportunity to connect with and support Hawai‘i’s kūpuna!
