EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK

Meet Tyler Yasui, NAVFAC Hawaii's Construction Manager at ROICC MCBH

“The best part of construction is that it's never the same from day to day, even when you're working on similar projects. It's always fluid and dynamic. You can see a site before construction starts and then see it after the project is finished. Whether you're building something, demolishing something, or repaving a road, you can see the before and after and how your work is directly impacting the mission.”

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK
Meet Royden Kurizaki, NAVFAC Hawaii's Supervisory Engineering Technician

“NAVFAC is a great family environment. People are really close, and there’s a deep pool of knowledge you can draw from. If you have a question or don’t know the answer, there are almost unlimited people you can reach out to for help. What also makes NAVFAC meaningful to me is the opportunity to support the mission and the warfighter. We’re building the infrastructure, facilities, and housing that allow warfighters to do their jobs.”
