👟💚 Walk to School Day at GVES! 💚👟

Walk to School Day is always such a special day at Green Valley Elementary! There’s nothing better than seeing our Gators, families, staff, and community come together for a fun morning of school spirit and togetherness. 🐊💚

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as there may be brief traffic delays and temporary disruptions along the route from Star Lake to the school while our students make their way to GVES.

Thank you for helping us make this a safe and memorable morning for our Gators! We can’t wait to see everyone walking together! 👟🐊💚

A huge thank you to Representative Mike Shaw for his generous contribution toward our new GVES stage curtain! 💚🐊 We are incredibly grateful for his continued support of Green Valley Elementary and our students.  He also secured an additional $6,300 in funding, bringing our fundraising grand total to $50,000! This is an amazing investment in our school, and we are so thankful for his commitment to GVES!

Counting Collections is a foundational math activity where children organize and count a collection of real, physical objects—like buttons, Lego bricks, coins, or seashells.
While it looks like simple play, Counting Collections is one of the most powerful, research-backed ways to build deep place value understanding, place-value flexibility, and number sense!
