Pafford Medical Services' Special Operations Division continues active response operations in the Florida Panhandle following Hurricane Isaias.
As a trusted emergency medical response partner, Pafford and its Special Response Alliance team are proud to be a preferred resource for Florida Health’s coordinated disaster response efforts. Working directly with state and local emergency management officials, our teams are on the ground, carrying out assigned missions and providing critical medical support where it is needed most.
Following landfall near Destin as a Category 2 hurricane with sustained winds of 105 mph, Isaias has moved inland and weakened significantly. Communities throughout the Panhandle, including Pensacola, Milton, and Crestview, continue to face the aftermath of damaging winds, flooding, downed trees, and widespread power outages. While weather conditions are expected to improve throughout the afternoon and into the evening, flooding, hazardous road conditions, and ongoing recovery efforts remain concerns overnight.
Our teams remain strategically positioned and prepared to respond as needs evolve. With extensive disaster response experience and established operational capabilities, we are here to do what we do best: answer the call and deliver care when it matters most.
We remain committed to supporting Florida Health, our response partners, and the communities impacted by Hurricane Isaias throughout this operation.
