It is will deep regret that the Town of Hope Fire Department announces the passing of Alex Ludwig on July 18, 2026. Alex was a 50+ year member of the department as well as past assistant chief. We are grateful for his dedication to the town and surrounding communities. There will be a funeral/celebration of life on Saturday September 12 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hope Corner Station.

Monday night the department responded to the South Hope Community Church to set up a landing zone for life flight. This was a mutual aid call request from Union Fire. Mutual aid is an important part of the department, lending a hand when needed to area departments.
