🏀 IT'S GAME TIME! 🏀

Youth Basketball registration is officially OPEN!

Whether your player is learning to dribble or ready to take over the court, there's a spot for them on the team.

📅 Regular Registration: October 5- November 21, 2026
👟 Ages: 3-15 years old
🗓️ Season: January 9-February 27, 2027
💵 Fee: $30 for residents and $40 for non-residents
📍 Where: Locations vary based on age groups

It’s the first day of October, the fall vibes have arrived, and we have plenty to look forward to this month with Hopewell Recreation and Parks!

🌳 Arbor Day Celebration:
Wednesday, October 7 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Hopewell Community Center.

Join us as we celebrate Hopewell’s growing legacy and the planting of a very special tree that will serve as the centerpiece of a future community and pollinator garden. Honoring Our Past. Growing Our Future.

We’re also excited to offer a FREE Lifeguard School for Hopewell High School students during their intersession! 🛟💦 It’s a great opportunity to learn lifesaving skills and become a certified lifeguard.

Almost a week later and we’re STILL smiling about race day!

Last Saturday, runners, walkers, volunteers, staff, and supporters came together to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the City Point Races and it was an incredible morning!

A huge thank you to all of our participants, volunteers, sponsors, partners, public safety, staff, and the community who helped make race day possible. Events like this take a village, and we are incredibly grateful for ours.💙💛
