We see your dedication to the community, Bear, and we're happy to offer a cruiser and a vest!

We had our K9 units pick out the vest just for you.

Thanks for your support, Hopkinsville Fire Department, and, of course, Bear!

Bear may be wearing a Sheriff’s badge in the pictures… but his mission is much bigger than one badge, one department, or one building.

Bear is here to serve our entire community.

You may find him visiting a fire department after a difficult call, spending time with dispatchers who carry the weight of emergencies they hear but cannot always see, walking through a police department, visiting a school or college, bringing comfort inside a hospital, or simply sitting beside a citizen whose world
has suddenly become very difficult.

Sometimes Bear’s job is serious. Sometimes it is simply making someone smile. Bear is not just here for one agency. He is here for people.

And whether someone is having one of their best days or walking through one of their hardest, Bear’s mission is pretty simple:

Bring a smile. Bring some calm. Bring some comfort. Be there when people need him 🐾
